President Barrow Removes "Islamic" From Gambia's Official Name

President Adama Barrow, the president of Gambia has stated in statement that Gambia will no longer bear the word 'Islamic' in it's official name.

He went further to say that the country's population is ranging from 90% muslims and 10% christiansand animists,

therefore due that reason 'islamic' will no longer be part of the official name, the previous official was " The Islamic Republic Of The Gambia" the present will be " The Republic Of The Gambia.
