Elumelu donates $500,000 to Sierra Leone mudslide victims

Elumelu who was on a visit to the country to commiserate with the government and people of sierra Leone over the loss caused by devastating mudslides and floods that claimed hundreds of lives and left many more still missing.

Information on the event stated; “Later on at the Sierra Leonean State house, Mr Elumelu made a donation of $250,000 on behalf of the Tony Elumelu Foundation and another $250,000 on behalf of staff, management and directors of United Bank for Africa (UBA) as emergency aid grants for victims of the mudslides,”
