Surprise at OAU: Students Show Appreciation to Their Inspirational Lecturer

The touching moment when students at Obafemi Awolowo University (OAU) showered their lecturer, Dr. Olagunju, with gifts as a thank you for his extraordinary commitment has been captured in a viral video.

The pupils recognized Dr. Olagunju's dedication to their education and welfare, despite the difficulties of teaching at several levels by herself.

The children chose to specifically thank him because they were so appreciative of his efforts.
One kid gave Dr. Olagunju a glass of water to start the surprise gift-giving ceremony, and then a flurry of pupils came forward with their gifts.

As he accepted the sincere gestures, the instructor was clearly overcome with emotion.

The video was shared by a student using the TikTok name "doxaleey," who wrote a sincere thank you to Dr. Olagunju in the description.

"We couldn't think of a better idea than this, and we wanted to express our heartfelt gratitude to Dr. Olagunju for his exceptional dedication and hard work this semester," she wrote.
 

Even though teaching Parts 1-4 by himself can be difficult, Dr. Olagunju has continuously shown his dedication to our education and welfare. We sincerely appreciate the beneficial influence he has had on our educational journey, and his efforts have not gone ignored.

We wish there was more we could do to demonstrate our gratitude, but we are thankful for the chance to do so today. We adore you, Dr. Olagunju, sir.
