Tems Triumphs at 2025 Grammy Awards with Best African Music Performance
Temilade Openiyi, better known by her stage name Tems, is a Nigerian singer who won the 67th Grammy Awards' Best African Music Performance category.

She won with her song Love Me JeJe, surpassing Burna Boy's Higher, Asake's MMS with Wizkid, Chris Brown's Sensational with Davido and Lojay, and Yemi Alade's Tomorrow.

Tems has now won two Grammys.

In the first edition of the category, Tyla from South Africa took home the prize for her 2024 hit song, Water.

At this year's Grammys, Tems garnered three nominations, increasing her career total to eight. Additionally, she received nominations for Best R&B Song (Burning) and Best Global Music Album (Born in the Wild).

The 67th Grammy Awards took place at the Crypto.com Arena in Los Angeles on Sunday.
