Chris Brown arrested in UK over alleged bottle attack in nightclub

According to the Economic Times, American rapper Chris Brown was arrested in the UK for allegedly committing a bottle attack at a London nightclub.
The 36-year-old artist was taken into custody by Metropolitan Police early on Thursday morning after they located him at Salford's The Lowry Hotel just hours after he landed in the city on a private plane.
Detectives from the Central West Area Basic Command Unit are leading the investigation into the arrest, which is reportedly related to an incident that occurred at a location in Hanover Square on February 19, 2023.

According to the Economic Times, Mr. Diaw, the complainant, has accused the R&B musician of attacking him without cause at around three in the morning while the singer and his group were at the posh Tape nightclub.
According to Mr. Diaw, Brown punched and kicked him while he was on the ground after hitting him over the head with a bottle.
Speaking to The Sun on Sunday, the music producer stated, “He hit me over the head two or three times. My knee collapsed as well.”
Mr. Diaw was admitted to the hospital after the alleged assault and needed crutches to walk after being discharged.

The two-time Grammy Award winner has ten more gigs planned in Britain for next month, but the rest of his tour may be canceled due to the ongoing police investigation.
Mr. Diaw has launched a legal complaint against Brown in response to the alleged incident, requesting $16 million (£12 million) in damages for the alleged injuries and monetary losses.
Major R&B performers Summer Walker will open the North American leg of Brown's "Breezy Bowl XX Tour," which was a celebration of his 20-year career. Bryson Tiller would accompany him in Europe and the UK.
He was scheduled to play two nights in Manchester's Co-Op Live stadium as part of the tour, and then a gig at Cardiff's Principality Stadium.
