Ned Nwoko Speaks Out: The Truth Behind Chika Ike Rumors

 

To add to rumors of a conflict in the family, Nwoko's wife, Regina Daniels, deleted her Instagram account earlier in the day.

"Our attention has been drawn to the recent false rumors alleging that Senator Prince Ned Munir Nwoko is planning to marry Nollywood actress Chika Ike as his seventh wife and that she is pregnant for him," the Director of Communications in his office responded in a rebuttal statement.

"We firmly assert that these allegations are wholly unfounded and the result of malicious conjecture."

Regarding his endorsement of Tuface's marriage to Edo legislator Natasha Osawuru, the senator accused bloggers of making up statements.

Likewise, it is wholly false to say that he said anything regarding Tuface and polygamy. Since he is well-known and his wife is an actress, it is common for bloggers who are looking for attention to make up things like this.

Despite the outcry, Chika Ike has not yet addressed the issue.

But Senator Nwoko has no time for diversions as he is now on a national mission and committed to fulfilling his political mandate.

"We remind media professionals of the repercussions of disseminating false material, and this office is still open to journalists for information verification. It is recommended that the public ignore these rumors and only trust official announcements from his office.
