Davido Elated As He Meets Fan Who Allegedly Trekked From Asaba to Lagos to Honour Him, Video Trends

A young man went from Asaba to Lagos for Nigerian artist Davido, who has been amazed by the extent of his fans' devotion to him.

A Nigerian young man going by the handle Oga Fish Boy traveled all the way from Asaba to Lagos on foot to meet the superstar in a video that went viral on the well-known video site TikTok.

The Afrobeats artist welcomed his loyal followers amid family and friends, as shown in the widely shared video.

Following an emotional encounter with a devoted fan, Oga Fish Boy, who walked from Asaba to Lagos to meet him, Nigerian musician Davido Adeleke, better known by his stage name Davido, has once again won over the hearts of his fans.

The TikToker, who showed an unfathomable amount of love for Davido, was shown in a viral video holding a sign that described his journey from Asaba to Lagos for his idol.

The young man immediately bowed before the Afrobeats artist after being overwhelmed by the kind welcome he received. Davido immediately shown his humility by instructing the young man to get up.

After a brief hesitancy, the twin father continued to yell, "Stand up!" until the loyal fan finally did.

Dorotv, however, stated in 2023 that Davido's admirers went to great lengths to express their love for him, even traveling from one state to another.

On Twitter, a young man going by the handle Dami disclosed that he had begun traveling from Taraba state to Lagos in order to visit the artist.

Dami requested internet users to wish him luck and a safe trip, stating that he would have to travel approximately 828 kilometers to see his favorite performer.

Surprisingly, Davido spotted the tweet that the fan had tagged him in. Davido only bemoaned the fact that his admirer decided to walk the distance.

The singer also added that Dami's body would suffer the consequences.

Another Nigerian man started a similar voyage shortly after another Nigerian man promised to ride his bike to Lagos state to meet Davido, according to DoroTV.

Davido advised the young man to return as he is now out of the nation, but Emmiwuks has persisted in his travels.

In a subsequent tweet on Friday, August 11, Emmiwuks declared that he had a present for Davido that he wished to give to the owner of the DMW label, and that he was not going back.

Additionally, he disclosed that he was already on his way from Benin to Ogun State. Emmiwuks posted on Twitter:
