Tragic Incident: Influencer Killed During Tokyo Livestream

According to local media on Wednesday, the accused criminal was taken into custody on the spot.

The young woman's head and neck were among the several stab wounds that investigators found on her body.

The influencer abruptly screamed for help before her smartphone camera went dark and sirens could be heard in the background, shocking the livestream's viewers.

According to preliminary investigations, the 42-year-old suspect is thought to be an influencer follower who has been routinely viewing her videos for a number of years.

He had been able to purposefully stalk his victim because of the previously announced livestream.

The man stated that he lent the woman two million yen (13,450 US dollars) but never got the money back, which he claimed was the motivation for the crime.

Right now, police are confirming that his accusations are true.
