Protest: Residents Outraged as Newly Tarred Road Washes Away in Osun

After a tarmac road was washed away by rain just one day after it was completed, residents of the Aduragbemi village in Ido-Osun, Osun State, protested on Friday.
Carrying signs, the demonstrators marched through the impacted region, calling for Governor Ademola Adeleke's assistance and accusing the contractor of performing subpar job.
Since the road was wrecked by the rain within 24 hours, they claimed that the job was inappropriate.
The community's citizens also urged the state government to look into the project.
According to social media user Adekeye Moses, the road which goes from Trade Fair/Ido-Osun Junction to Adeleke Estate via Aduramigba was tarred on Wednesday, May 14, but was totally washed away following a rainfall on Thursday, May 15.
