The Consequences of Dating Multiple Women at Once: Daniel Etim-Effiong's Story

Daniel Etim-Effiong, an actor, has talked candidly about his previous experiences with several women.

Chude Jideonwo disclosed in an interview that he went through a stage in which he experimented with relationships with several women, characterizing it as a period of learning.

Since it might be challenging to break free from such habits later in life, Etim-Effiong now advises young people against adopting a similar lifestyle.

He emphasized that it may be difficult to establish a long-term, secure, and satisfying relationship if one has a record of promiscuity or lack of commitment prior to marriage.

"Were you a womanizer before you got married?" Chude inquired.

"It depends on what you define as a womanizer," Etim-Effiong retorted.

"A man who dates multiple women at the same time," Chude deduced.

Etim-Effiong: "Perhaps I was at one point in my life. Definitions vary, but according to that definition, I might have been one of those people for a long time. Perhaps for a few specific time periods that I investigated. So, maybe.

"Were the periods good?" Chude inquired.

In response, Etim-Effiong said: "Yes, those were times when I was learning. They were good times, if I understood correctly.

“What did you learn?” Chude inquired.

Etim-Effiong retorted: "I discovered that some things don't always provide the satisfaction you anticipate. On paper, it seems like that's how life is, but perhaps it's not in practice.

I frequently advise young people that while playing is cool, you won't instantly change your habits or way of life.

Therefore, avoid creating something that you don't want to carry on for the rest of your life. When you are married, it won't necessarily change if you can't commit to one person and are constantly in relationships.

"That muscle isn't developed when you get married, so when you face a challenge, you want to jump right away or you just say, 'I'm talking to you, you're not listening to me. Let me find somebody who would listen to me.'"

"If you are the type of person who, prior to marriage, found it easy to simply walk away, maintain various relationships, and keep women on the string, getting married won't change that."
