Buhari/Atiku Ticket, a fatal error, Tinubu instead

There were reports from the Vanguard that Buhari has chosen Bola Tinubu as his running mate under the APC for 2015 Presidential elections. While this is a muslim/muslim ticket, it might not matter since they need to win votes from the North and West.

But another option everyone thought would make sense was Buhari/Amaechi. Amaechi is the governor of Rivers State who fell out with Patience Jonathan, Jonathan the President himself and his party PDP. But analysts have dismissed the option of Amaechi becoming a running mate since even his Muslim/Christian tag won't attract lots of votes from the South.
