70% Failure in WAEC Results

The West African Examinations Council (WAEC) yesterday released the 2014 West African School Senior School Certificate Examination (WASSCE) results with 70 per cent of the candidates failing to score up to six credits.

The total number of candidates that sat for the examination, 75,313 candidates, representing 30.50 per cent, obtained six credits and above, while 110,346 candidates, representing 44.70 per cent, obtained five credits and above.
