Bring Back Our Beggars, Kaduna Beggars Tell Governor in a Protest

Street begging was banned in Kaduna state, but it seems there are persons who are not comfortable with this. Beggars comprising of deaf and dumbs, the blind, crippled, aged persons yesterday staged a protest to the Kaduna state chapter of the Nigerian Union of Journalists where they expressed their displeasure over the anti-begging bill that was signed into law by the state governor, Nasir El-Rufai, last week.
