APC Floods Kaduna: A Show of Unity and Strength Under Buhari

Kaduna The All Progressives Congress (APC)-elected governors who make up the Progressive Governors Forum (PGF) have reaffirmed the party's strength and unity, claiming that it is still Nigeria's biggest and most stable political party and is well-positioned for further success in the run-up to the general elections in 2027.

This was revealed by Hope Uzodinma, the PGF Chairman and Imo State Governor, when he visited former President Muhammadu Buhari at his home in Kaduna. After meeting with Buhari behind closed doors, Uzodinma told reporters that the visit was an expression of unity and solidarity within the APC.

The visit came after the end of Ramadan, Lent, and Eid-el-Fitr festivities, and it was crucial to honor the former president, who held the office for two terms under the APC, according to Uzodinma.

For us in the APC, President Buhari is a father figure. He is in good health and clear mind, which pleases us," Uzodinma said.

He thanked Buhari for his leadership and for helping to create a cohesive political system that allowed the APC to hold onto power.

"The APC is becoming more powerful and capable of running Nigeria efficiently. Our capacity to consult broadly and put the good of the country ahead of individual goals is what gives us this power," he continued.

Strong leadership and internal unity are still essential for the party to have long-term electoral success, Governor Uzodinma underlined.
