Nigeria gained her Independence on October 1, 1960 from the Kingdom of Great Britain. Today marks 59 years of gaining freedom from colonialism. Nigeria has a lot to celebrate, especially a stronger Democracy, war against terrorism and corruption and an ever-growing economy. Happy Independence anniversary Nigeria. May we all celebrate Nigeria at 59, the most populous black nation on earth, and the strongest economy in Africa.
