Fatal Accident Injures 7 at Lagos 3rd Mainland Bridge
In the early hours of today, 18th January, the LASEMA Response Team responded to a lone accident involving a commercial bus at Third Mainland Bridge.

Upon arrival of the Agency's Tiger Team at the incident scene, it was discovered....

...that the commercial bus with registration number FST 434 XV rammed into a barrier used for road diversion due to over speeding, resulting in 7 passengers sustaining injuries. Fortunately, no fatalities were recorded and all victims have been stabilised....

...and taken to the Trauma Centre by the Agency's officials and paramedics.
The affected vehicle has been successfully recovered and towed to a layby with our light tow truck.
All motorists are encouraged to drive within speed limits to avoid loss of lives and properties....
