Political Power Move: Tinubu Names CEO Under His Visionary Leadership

President Bola Tinubu has appointed the Chairman of the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC), Abdullahi Ganduje as the board chairman of the Federal Airport Authority of Nigeria.

Senator Bashiru Ajibola, the national secretary of the APC, was also appointed to the position of chairman of the National Sugar Development Council (NSDC) board.

The appointment was announced Friday in a statement by Bayo Onanuga, Special Adviser to the President (Information & Strategy).

According to the release, "President Bola Ahmed Tinubu has appointed a secretary to the board of the Civil Defense, Immigration, and Prisons Services as well as board chairpersons for 42 federal organizations."

"A new managing director for the Nigerian Railway Corporation and a director-general for the National Board for Technology Incubation (NBTI) have also been appointed by the President."

He said that Sulaiman Argungu, a former deputy governor of Kebbi State, was named chairman of the Nigeria Bulk Electricity Trading Company by Tinubu.

Magnus Abe, a former senator from Rivers South-East and a longtime ally of the president, also made the list as the Chairman of the National Agency for the Great Green Wall.

Tinubu instructed the "board chairpersons not to interfere with the management of the organizations, emphasizing that their positions are non-executive," according to the presidential spokesperson.

President Bola Ahmed Tinubu has named a secretary to the board of the Civil Defense, Immigration, and Prisons Services in addition to chairpersons for 42 federal organizations.

Additionally, the President has named a new director-general for the National Board for Technology Incubation (NBTI) and a new managing director for the Nigerian Railway Corporation.

President Tinubu emphasizes that the board chairpersons' roles are non-executive and instructs them not to meddle in the organization's management.

Every appointment is effective right away.
