  • After winning the Men's Royal Rumble, Jey Uso is now a WWE main event star.

  • At WrestleMania 41, Uso will have another opportunity to claim his first world title.

  • In a crowded field, Uso's triumph surprised big contenders like John Cena.

"Main Event" Today, Jey Uso is more than simply a nickname. He really is a WWE main event superstar. Jey Uso was the final guy to enter the ring during the conclusion of the 2025 Men's Royal Rumble match.

To prevent the 16-time world champion from winning title No. 17 at WrestleMania, Uso most recently defeated John Cena. 'Main Event' Jey, who started the Rumble at number 20, will have his chance to capture his first world title at WrestleMania 41 against either Undisputed WWE Champion Cody Rhodes or World Heavyweight Champion Gunther.

In 2023 and 2024, Jey made his singles debut after spending much of his career working as a tag team specialist alongside his twin brother Jimmy. Throughout his career, Uso has had multiple chances to catch the big one. But he has lost every opportunity he has had. Last year, he did win the Intercontinental Title, his first-ever singles title.

Nevertheless, he will now have the chance to capture his first world title at the Granddaddy of Them All.

Many WWE fans were undoubtedly shocked by Uso's victory. Perhaps the most stacked Royal Rumble field in recent memory was this one. Despite being the clear favorite going into the fight, Cena lost his attempt to win a record 17th world title. Roman Reigns, Seth Rollins, and CM Punk were among the others who won. However, Jey ultimately defied all the odds.

There were a few unexpected competitors during the match, despite the field being packed with elite athletes. Joe Hendry, the TNA World Champion, appeared after someone apparently called him out. Akira Tozawa, who was assaulted by Carmelo Hayes on the ramp, was replaced by internet celebrity and streamer IShowSpeed.

The Yeetman is now the center of attention as he concentrates on deciding which champion he will challenge at WrestleMania. But this early in the Road to WrestleMania, Uso appears to be leaning toward a choice.

Just seven days earlier, Uso had challenged Gunther at the Main Event of WWE Saturday Night. At one point, he appeared to have the World Heavyweight Champion reeling. However, The Ring General just outperformed Uso that day and kept him from having his pivotal moment in his career.

Jey was fortunate to have several opportunities in the WWE, and he took full advantage of them on February 1st in front of over 65,000 spectators at Lucas Oil Stadium. Can he make it to the Grandest Stage of Them All and eventually reach the summit? For all of the Yeet-heads out there, the road to WrestleMania is going to be an exciting one.
