Shakira Resumes World Tour After Lima Hospital Stay

Colombian pop star Shakira said her concert in Peru Monday will go ahead a day after she called off another performance because of a sudden hospitalisation.

The 48-year-old singer-songwriter had to cancel a gig on Sunday after visiting the ER on Saturday night and being briefly admitted to the hospital.
On Monday, Shakira announced on Instagram that the National Stadium in Lima will open its gates at 4:00 pm (2100 GMT) for a show that is scheduled to begin at 8:15 pm.
Her health was not mentioned in the post.
The concert that had to be canceled on Sunday will have a new date soon, according to events provider Masterlive, which also confirmed that Monday's planned performance will proceed.
For the first time in seven years, Shakira is touring the world.
