How I escaped sexual harassment in Nollywood — Azeezat Shorunmu

Surviving the Odds: My Journey through Nollywood's Darkside
Azeezat Shorunmu, an actress and filmmaker, has claimed that writing scripts allowed her to avoid sexual harassment and approaches from male executives.
Shorunmu said in an interview with Sunday Scoop that persons who are thirsty for fame and rapid money are more likely to become victims of sexual harassment.
According to her, "many people in the film industry become victims of sexual harassment when they lose their ability to think creatively and positively about their careers or when they become desperate for fame, success, or quick wealth."
"I had the good fortune to escape that fate. By being loyal to my values and self, I managed to avoid the advances and intimidation of male producers.
