Breaking: Founder of Diamond Bank, Paschal Dozie, Dies at 85

Pascal Gabriel Dozie, one of Nigeria's most renowned financiers, businessmen, and nation-builders, died at the age of 85.
He passed away in the early hours of Tuesday, according to a family member who confirmed his passing to DoroTV. He passed away one day before turning eighty-six.
Prior to its merger with Access Bank, Dozie was the creator of Diamond Bank, one of the most inventive banks in the nation. In addition, he was the first Chairman of MTN Nigeria, which helped to shape the nation's mobile telecommunications revolution.
Dozie's early genius led him from Our Lady's School in Emekuku to the London School of Economics, where he studied economics and obtained a master's degree in administrative science. He was born on April 9, 1939, in Egbu, Owerri, Imo State.
