Paul Okoye's Joyful Celebration Video: Jude's Release Sparks Widespread Happiness

Jude Okoye, Paul and Peter Okoye's older brother and former manager of the now-defunct band P-Square, has been released from the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission's custody.

Jude and his business, Northside Music Limited, were charged by the EFCC with laundering ?1.38 billion, $1 million, and £34,537.59, according to PUNCH.

Paul, also known as RudeBoy of Psquare, made the announcement of his release on Wednesday via a series of videos posted to his Instagram story.

He said, “Jude is finally out after 2months + .. all their efforts to frustrate his bail has finally collapsed. Brother #judeengees, welcome home. Happy birthday, too. Welcome back, blood.

Additionally, he revealed that there will be a party for Jude's release.

Recall that after Jude’s arraignment in February, Paul declared that he would not abandon his elder brother since he blamed his twin, Peter, for Jude’s legal issues and jail.

Peter told the Federal High Court in Lagos last week about Jude's covert registration of a new business in his wife's name and its usage to siphon off P-Square revenues.

Following his testimony in the lawsuit, Peter talked candidly about having to endure more than 20 years of deception and treachery.

"Don't allow "family" to be the cause of your silence. For more than two decades, I did, and it nearly cost me everything. However, I've learned that family doesn't steal from you, love doesn't control, and loyalty doesn't betray.

"Family that takes advantage of you isn't really family." "A true family doesn't deplete you, embarrass you, treat you unfairly, or disregard your suffering," he wrote.
