Nigerian man bites off police officer's ear after being arrested in MalaysiaTraditional Nigerian cuisine

After a police officer was arrested at a clinic in Metro Prima, Kepong, Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, a Nigerian man scuffled with him and bit off a portion of his ear.

The incident happened at 10.03 am on Friday, April 25, 2025, when the corporal reacted to a distress call regarding a foreign male causing a disturbance at a clinic, according to Kuala Lumpur police chief Datuk Rusdi Mohd Isa.

"Officers from the Kepong police station arrested the 38-year-old suspect after investigations showed that he was causing a nuisance at the clinic. In order to return the suspect to the Sentul district police headquarters (IPD), the corporal was directed to help. 

The guy, who had his wrists cuffed behind his back, suddenly became hostile and refused to cooperate while being led to the back seat of the patrol car. He stated in a statement today that the suspect then bit the victim's left ear, cutting off a portion of it.

According to Rusdi, the case was being looked into under Section 15(1)(c) of the Immigration Act 1959/63 and Section 325/353 of the Penal Code, and the corporal was being treated at Kuala Lumpur Hospital for his torn ear.
