Nigeria's Minister of Petroleum resources, Diezani Alison-Madueke has been appointed the President of the Gas Exporting Countries Forum GECF. Her appointment as president was announced yesterday Dec. 16th at the 16th Ministerial meeting of the forum holding in the Qatari capital of Doha.

She is also the President of the Organization of Petroleum Exporting Countries, OPEC.
