After winning APC Guber in Kogi, Prince Audu Abubakar dies

Prince Audu Abubakar, the winner of the gubernatorial election in Kogi state died of some undisclosed illness on Sunday morning. Even though the election was declared inconclusive, he had the highest votes and was part of the ruling party, the APC. Prince Audu Abubakar was said to have bleed from the mouth before he died, which looked like symptoms of ulcer. But because he was to be buried according to Islamic rites, there might be no chance for autopsy. There are indications that the election will be re-run.
