Libya deports more Nigerians
More than 250 Nigerians repatriated from Libya arrived at the Murtala Muhammed International Airport, Ikeja, on Tuesday.

The latest returnees arrived aboard an airbus belonging to Libyan Air at the airport around 6.45pm.
National Emergency Management Agency, NEMA, spokesman for South West, Ibrahim Farinloye, disclosed that 148 of the returnees were females, while 105 were males.
He said, “The assisted voluntary returnees arrived in the country around 6.45pm on Tuesday aboard an airbus belonging to the Libyan Air.
“A total of 253 people were received by NEMA officials. Of the number were 140 adult females, four female children, and four female infants.
“There were 102 male adults, two male children and one male infant.”
NEMA officials provided the returnees with food and money for transportation back to their different destinations after they were profiled by immigration officers.
Other agencies that received the deportees were the National Agency for the Prohibition of Trafficking in Persons, the National Drug Law Enforcement Agency, the Nigerian Police Force and the Nigeria Immigration Service.
