Nigerian First Lady, Aisha Buhari Returns To London
Wife of the President, Aisha Muhammadu Buhari, yesterday returned to the United Kingdom to visit her husband, who is on medical vacation.

Mrs Buhari’s spokesman, Suleiman Haruna, disclosed this in a statement.

Mrs Aisha Buhari, the Nigerian First Lady had on June 6 returned from London after spending barely one week with her husband.

Buhari has been in the United Kingdom since May 7 for what the Presidency called a follow-up consultation with his doctors.

The statement said Mrs Buhari would convey to the president, the best wishes of Nigerians and their fervent prayers for his quick recovery.

According to the statement, Mrs Buhari is expected to stop over at Addis Ababa to make a symbolic appearance at the meeting of the Organization of African First Ladies against HIV/AIDS (OAFLA) on Monday.

She will join other members to celebrate the 15th anniversary of the organization and use the opportunity to reiterate the voting rights of Nigeria in the upcoming elections of the organization.

The statement said Mrs Buhari would continue her journey to the United Kingdom on Tuesday.
