ATM robber makes U-turn - returns money immediately after stealing it

A robber in China had a change of heart immediately after he had stolen money withdrawn from an ATM by an elderly woman. The robber checked the account balance of the woman, and having seen she had nothing left in there decided not to flee the scene.

He instead returned the money to the old woman. A CCTV footage from inside the ATM kiosk of ICBC Bank has since gone viral which shows the robber in the act. The robber was still arrested afterwards by the Heyuan Police
