The governor said that there was no distinction between party members who joined today and those who were in the APC 10 years ago while speaking to a huge gathering of party supporters in Murtala Square at the massive rally on Saturday to welcome the defectors.
"The position of an individual who joined APC today and a foundation member ten years ago is identical. The governor declared that they will have the same rights and benefits.
Governor Sani instructed the decampees to inform their followers that the APC is still open to accepting more defectors and is prepared to accept them into the party.

He says that the APC's fair leadership at the state and federal levels is the reason for its acceptance and popularity.
The party is here to stay in Kaduna State, the whole north, and Nigeria overall, he continued.
"The electorate will support the APC in every election, from the top to the bottom, in 2027. Our leader, President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, will be elected at the highest level. "With God's grace, the party will be elected to the state level in the gubernatorial, national, and state assembly elections," he stated.
Regardless of political ties or ethno-religious concerns, the governor pledged that projects will be carried out throughout Kaduna State.

Governance is not the same as politics. Because that is the oath of office that we swore to respect as leaders, we will treat everyone fairly, regardless of whether they voted for us," he stated.
Governor Sani, who maintained that leaders are imperfect and will inevitably make mistakes like everyone else, begged the leaders to always call out their errors so they can be fixed.
He reminded the audience that leaders will be judged in the afterlife based on how they guided the people that God had given them.

Former Kaduna State Governor Ramalan Yero, Senator Shehu Sani, Senator Suleiman Hunkuyi, the New Nigeria Peoples Party's (NNPP) gubernatorial candidate in the most recent election, and former Action Democratic Party (ADP) gubernatorial candidate Sani Shaaban are notable among those who defected to the APC.
Others include Sule Buba, a former Nigerian envoy to South Korea; Abubakar Mustapha, a former National Organising Secretary of the PDP; and Senator Danjuma Laah, who represented the Kaduna senatorial district in the upper legislative house on the party's platform.
