How I coped six years after my wife’s death – Dunsin Oyekan

After his wife, Adedoyin, passed away on May 18, 2019, gospel musician Dunsin Oyekan has thought back on his six-year grieving process.

Prior to her passing, the couple had two children, the specifics of which are yet unknown, after being married in February 2013.

The 40-year-old musician revealed in an Instagram post how his spiritual journey has been influenced by the anguish of losing Adedoyin.

He clarified that he found strength and healing in God's presence by directing his pain into praise rather than repressing it.

"Most people wondered how I survived," he wrote. I channeled the anguish instead of numbing it!

"By accepting God's sovereignty and understanding Him from His point of view, I was able to find peace and joy in His presence!

"After six years, all I can say with tears of happiness is that God is good."
