Nigeria: MTN N1.04 trillion fine deadline extended by FG
After MTN Nigeria was fined a whooping sum of N1.04 trillion by NCC, a deadline was set, which should have been today, 16th November 2015. However, due to the sensitivity of the matter, because MTN is a South African company, The Federal government has reportedly extended the date for the payment of the N1.04 trillion fine. The fine was as a result of failure to obey the NCC directive on the deactivation of unregistered sim cards.
