Electrocution Scandal: What Led to the Fatal Attempt of this Vandal
In Asokoro, Abuja, a man was electrocuted while trying to steal electrical infrastructure from the Abuja Electricity Distribution Company (AEDC). The body of the suspect was found on January 30, 2025, close to step-down electricity wires at Yakubu Gowon Crescent, according to the FCT Police Command, which verified the occurrence.
Tools used for the attempted vandalism were also found by law police, however a second person who is thought to be an accomplice escaped before help could reach them.
