Drama in House of Reps as female members engage in shouting match

On Wednesday, two female members of the House of Representatives got into a heated argument on the Rivers State development, which resulted in a little drama within the chamber.

Before the plenary began, Marie Ebikake (PDP, Bayelsa) and Blessing Amadi (PDP, Rivers) got into a heated argument on whether the president's decision was legitimate.

However, members intervened to stop the shouting match from getting worse between the two women.

While some members seemed ready for a brawl over the matter, others were observed banging tables and declaring that nothing would happen.

Before the plenary began, a number of additional members were observed debating the matter in various capacities.
