Rivers State: Man hacks Reverend Sister to death

The arrest of a guy named Kelvin Okoro for allegedly fatally cutting a revered sister in the Aluu community of the Ikwerre Local Government Area of Rivers State has been verified by the Rivers State Police Command.
It was discovered that the suspect had been nagging the deceased (Maureen Wecheonwu) to pay off an unspecified amount of money that he owed.
According to a source who asked not to be named due to the delicate nature of the situation, Kelvin deceived his benefactor by leading her to a desolate location where he allegedly committed the heinous act on Thursday early before running away.

The source added that several locals found the Reverend Sister's body in a pool of her blood and informed the local security agency.
"We heard that he didn't know how to repay the money," he said. Under the pretense of talking about the debt, he called the woman out.
"He took her to a lonely path and severely beat her with an object, not knowing his evil intentions because the Reverend Sister had been complaining to people in the community that he had refused to pay his debt."
He went on to say that the vigilante dubbed OSPAC expanded their investigation after people began to question why they hadn't seen the man following the finding of her body.
