Another Rivers Oil Pipeline Explosion: What You Need to Know

At a pipeline manifold on the Omwawriwa axis of the Ogba-Egbema-Ndoni Local Government Area of Rivers State, another explosion was recorded on Tuesday.
This occurred just a few hours after the Trans Niger Pipeline, located in Rivers State's Gokana Local Government Area, was believed to have exploded.
In Bayelsa State, the explosion was said to have happened at a manifold connected to a federal pipeline that transports crude oil to Brass.
Calls and texts asking for comments on the incident were not answered by the command's spokesperson, Grace Iringe-Koko, or state commissioner of police Olugbenga Adepoju.
These acts coincided with a growing political rivalry amongst MPs who supported former governor and FCT Minister Nyesom Wike and Governor Siminalayi Fubara.
