Shopkeeper who saved lives at the Paris terror attack receives grand welcome in home country

24-year old Mali born employee Lassana Bathily who saved the lives of several shoppers in the Paris terror attack that left 4 dead on Jan.9th received a grand welcome in Mali yesterday; 9 years after he left Mali for France.
Lassana was welcomed by Malian government officials led by the Malian Minister of Foreign Affairs, Cheickkna Kamissoko. He and his father later had lunch with the Malian French Ambassador at the french embassy in Mali.
