Nigerian Stock Exchange (NSE) Gains N112bn Yesterday
The equities market of the Nigerian Stock Exchange (NSE) gained N112 billion on the market capitalization, to close at N11,803 trillion. The NSE All Share Index (ASI) appreciated by +0.96% to close at 34,135.10 basis points, as against +0.04% appreciation recorded previously. Its Year-to-Date (YTD) returns currently stands at +27.02%.

Market breadth closed positive as CCNN led 30 Gainers against 19 Losers topped by CAP at the end of the day’s session - an improved performance when compared with previous outlook. 

Market turnover closed negative as volume moved down by -2.18% against -14.01% downtick recorded in the previous session. WEMABANK, GUARANTY and ACCESS were the most active to boost market turnover. GUARANTY and NB topped market value list. GNI leads the list of active stocks that recorded impressive volume spike at the end of yesterday’s  session. The summary of the market activities shows that, a total of 482 million shares valued at N5.6 billion, exchanged hands in 5,771 deals.
